Welcome To Our Web Site
The "Good Guys Golf League" was formed in 1968. Last year
(2014), marked the league's 46th year of its existence. It has seen
only four league secretaries since its formation. Bill Harrison was
the first. Dick "Big Daddy" Seikmeier was the second. John
Deisinger was the third. And, Gary Tipton (me) is the fourth. I have
been secretary since 1984. Dick Seikmeier had the second longest
tenure. He served as secretary for about ten years.
I started playing in the league in 1970 as John Deisinger's partner. Many members have come and gone, since then. But, the league has remained strong for all those years.
After 46 years at the G.E.E.A.A. park course, we will be starting out as a rookie league at the Fairfield Greens golf course, in this 2015 season. I feel that we will have many wonderful years at this course, too. Maybe it won't be 46 years, but we'll keep going for as long as we can!
